Wareham Middle School announced their three Students of the Month for the last month of the school year. 

Jason Avila was named Student of the Month for the fifth grade and his teachers praised his hard work in the classroom.

“Jason is the best student in class. He has the highest grades and is working very hard.” one teacher said. “He uses his strategies and perseveres through all of his classes. He studies his topics and contributes in class discussions. We are very proud of Jason.”

For the sixth grade, Kallie Alsheimer was named Student of the Month and her teachers commended her creativity and imagination in the classroom.

“Kallie is a creative and imaginative student. She is a dedicated and valued member of Art Club and I love having her there,” one teacher said. “She is kind to her classmates and is always polite. Kallie is positively Wareham.”

Seventh grader Mary Kaliny was named Student of the Month for her great work in the classroom.

“Mary has been an outstanding A student all year long,” one teacher said. “She participates in class regularly and completes all of her work on time and with accuracy. Mary is well deserving of this award, Congratulations Mary!”

Wareham Middle School announces a Student of the Month every month of the school year. The students are celebrated at the Wareham-New Bedford Elks lodge with a Student of the Year ceremony.
