Lawrence “Larry” Crowley, 69
WAREHAM – Lawrence “Larry” Crowley, 69, of Wareham, passed away at home on October 31, 2025, Halloween, his favorite holiday. He was the husband of Cynthia M. (Owen) Crowley.
He was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. He then lived in Randolph, Brockton, and Plymouth, before moving to Wareham to purchase his own home in 2001.
Mr. Crowley worked as a Carpenter for Crowley Construction for many years. He also worked for Burgess Steeplejacks in Pembroke. He was proud of the work he accomplished.
He enjoyed saltwater fishing, especially along the Cape Cod Canal and at Green Harbor in Marshfield. He was a longtime volunteer for the Special Olympics where he would take kids fishing. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed yearly trips to the Kancamagus in NH with Cindy.
Most of all he loved his family and friends and cherished the close bond he had with them.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia (Owen) Crowley; his mother, Lurana Crowley of Abington; his children, Larry Crowley, Jr. of Lakeville, Kerri Fuller of West Bridgewater, Shannan Robillard of Bridgewater, and Melissa Crowley-baker of East Wareham; his siblings, Dennis Crowley of Tucson, AZ, Paul Crowley of Abington, Kevin Crowley of Yarmouth Port, James Crowley of Whitman, Carol Crowley of Abington, and Steven Crowley of Tamworth, NH; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, the late Wilfred L. “Larry” Crowley.
Visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
