Highlighting local crafters, the Wareham High School DECA students will host its fourth annual craft fair.
The event on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be held in the high school gymnasium at 7 Viking Drive. From board games to candles, guests can find gifts for all occasions.
Entrance into the fair will be by donation to enjoy the crafts, music, raffles concessions and more. For more information on the event view the clubs website at warehamdeca.com and check out the Wareham DECA on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
Tuesday, Nov. 18
Clippin' and loppin'
Despite the cold weather coming in, the Wareham Land Trust is still getting outside. The land trust is hosting a work day at Whitlock’s Landing Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Attendees will help the land trust clean the area up. Tools such as loppers and clippers will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own.
To get to Whitlock's Landing from the intersection of Cranberry Highway and Route. 28 and Glen Charlie Road, proceed North on Glen Charlie Road for 1 mile. Whitlock’s Landing is on the left. The event is free but registration is required. Visit warehamlandtrust.org to register.

Let’s think creatively
For anyone looking to improve their artistic skills, the Wareham Land Trust has a class for you.
Join the land trust Wednesday, Nov. 19 for a journaling class teaching techniques for drawing plants. The class will be held at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
All materials will be provided and the event is free. Registration is required, visit warehamlandtrust.org to register.
Become thank-full of knowledge
The parade might be in New York, but the history of the event is close to home.
Nancy Franks of Frankly Speaking will be teaching guests about the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road, Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
The program is free and no registration is required.
