Reduce, reuse and recycle once more

Have a load of plastic? Don't let the day go to waste.

The Wareham Recycling Center will be accepting rigid plastics on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon.

These are the kinds of plastic will be accepted on those dates only:

Plastic chairs, lawn furniture, kids toys, kiddie pools, buckets, bins, barrels, pet carriers, coolers and large water dispensers. Smaller plastic items with the recycle symbol and a number will still go in the "single stream" bins.
