Golf and dance in the new year at Library

Dec 16, 2022

The Wareham Free Library has fun activities planned for the last days of the year.

On Friday, Dec. 30, the entire library will be transformed into a 18-hole mini golf course.

Players will test their skills as they attempt to get par on each hole as the course weaves through the stacks, around furniture and through all sections of the Library.

The course will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each player is asked to give a $5 donation.

This event is sponsored by the Wareham Free Library Foundation.

On Saturday, Dec. 31, kids of all ages are invited back to the Library to celebrate the new year at an hour everyone can enjoy.

The second annual Noon Years Eve celebration, sponsored by the Friends of the Wareham Free Library, will start at 10:30 a.m. D.J. Ooch will be on hand for the coolest dance party around, with games and fun for everyone, culminating in a balloon drop at 12 p.m.

This program is free and no registration is required.
