When scarecrows start popping up along Main Street and Onset Avenue don’t be alarmed, its local businesses entering the Wareham Village Association’s annual scarecrow contest.
The contest will run from Monday, Oct. 20 to Friday, Oct. 31. Judging will occur Oct. 31.
There are already four scarecrows up but there is still time to enter the competition.
