The event was aimed at bringing people together.
Community members gathered Saturday for a Peace Walk organized by Wareham Faith in Action, a local effort aimed at promoting unity and nonviolence.
The walk began at the Wareham Town Green, where participants assembled before continuing along Main Street to Chapel Street and returning to the Town Green.
Participants included residents of all ages who joined for the full route or portions of the walk. Organizers emphasized that the event was not a protest or rally, and asked attendees to avoid political signage and instead carry messages focused on peace and unity.
