John Patrick Cote, 68
John Patrick Cote, age 68, of Eddington, Maine, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026. He was born on October 8, 1957 in Taunton, Massachusetts to Charles L. Cote and Ann V. (Kelly) Cote. He attended Taunton High School, graduating in 1975.
John lived a life defined by his deep love for family and friends, his physical and emotional strength, and his loyalty to those he loved. He proudly served in the Navy, where he demonstrated courage and dedication to his country. He spent much of his life working as a pest control technician, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependability.
Survived by his daughters, Lea Fox, Shari Cote, and Emily Cote; his grandchildren, Victoria Morales, Mariah Morales, Ryan Fox, Ryley Fox, Daisy Leite, and Grayson Leite; his great granddaughter, Octavia Griggs; and his siblings, Charles Cote, Tommy Cote, Nancy Cote-Caldeira, James Cote, and Laura Cote-Hall.
He enjoyed spending time over coffee, reminiscing, tinkering with his collection of computers, researching his family history, and cooking for himself and his loved ones. He was especially known for his sense of humor and his appreciation for antiques of all kinds, surrounding himself with items that held personal meaning and history. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton, Ma from 3:00-6:00pm. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
