Meet the candidates: Four run for two seats on School Committee
Four candidates are vying for two available three-year terms on the Wareham School Committee as the Tuesday, May 5 town election approaches.
This year will have voters choose candidates following incumbents Joyce Bacchiocchi and Kevin Brogioli's terms ending. Both have served multiple years on the board and are looking to rerun.
Newcomers Nancy Tynan-Cederholm and Jordan Johnson have joined in to make this race contested.
The candidates sat down with editor Brandy Muz to discuss why they are running, their goals and some of the hot button issues within the district like the introduction of new Superintendent Amy Hartley-Matteson and budgets.
The Wareham town election will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Precinct maps and other election information are available at wareham.gov.
