REQUEST FOR MATERIALS

The Town of Wareham is seeking and accepting sealed proposals for materials to build a Denitrifying Woodchip Bioreactor at the Wareham Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF). Proposals will be accepted at the Wareham Water Pollution Control Facility, 6 Tony’s Lane, Wareham, MA 02571 until 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Proposals not submitted on original bid forms shall be deemed non-responsive. Proposal submissions must be made in a sealed envelope clearly marked Woodchip Bioreactor Materials – Wareham Water Pollution Control Facility - 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2025. The Town of Wareham assumes no liability for proposals mistakenly opened due to improperly labeled envelopes and will return same to bidder without notice.

Proposal and specification documents may be obtained from the Wareham Water Pollution Control Facility at the above address and on the Town of Wareham’s website, https://www.wareham.gov/bids.aspx after 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The Water Pollution Control Facility Director, Scott Kraihanzel, will be accepting questions via email at skraihanzel@wareham.gov until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The Town of Wareham reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to make awards in a manner deemed in the best interest of the Town as provided by M.G.L.

TOWN OF WAREHAM
Legal Notice to Bidders
INVITATION FOR BID

SEALED BIDS for traffic line painting and markings October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026, with renewal options for two additional one year periods, shall be received at the Municipal Maintenance office, 95 Charge Pond Rd, Wareham, MA 02571, until 10:00 a.m. on September 17, 2025. Bids must be made in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Traffic Line Painting and Markings”.

MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement Markings, for the project with an estimated value of $218,000.00 per fiscal year will be required. Awarding Authority reserves the right to extend the contract for two (2) additional 12-month options. Valuation for purposes of MassDOT Prequalification is based on first year times three (3) to arrive at an estimated value of all bid items. The estimated value provided in the Invitation to Bid is for one year. Vendors are expected to be able to provide their services over three (3) years at three (3) times the initial estimated value.
