In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 40A, Section 5, the Wareham Planning Board will hold a public hearing on October 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM
at the Wareham Town Hall, Room 27, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571, to consider proposed amendments to the Wareham Zoning Bylaw, specifically:
To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-Law at Article 8: Minimal Dimensional Requirements, Section 815.4, by replacing the current language:
“Minimal front yard, side, and rear requirements shall be the same as in the zoning district in which the development is proposed.”
With the following language:
“Minimal front yard setback shall be 20 feet, and minimal side and rear setbacks shall be 10 feet.”
Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the matter should appear at the time and place designated. Written comments may also be submitted to the Wareham Planning Department prior to the hearing.
