Jane (Morrell) DeGowin, 74 of West Wareham, formerly of Carver, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Jane was born September 6, 1950. She was the daughter of the late James and Beatrice Morrell. She was one of eight children.

Jane was an avid crotchetier, whose works of art were admired by all. If you received such a gift, you knew the love and time devoted, and always the talk of the party. Jane was also a talented cake decorator for her family and friends for many years. 

Jane is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Donald DeGowin and their children Donald DeGowin Jr. and his wife Kerry of Buzzards Bay, Daryl DeGowin and his wife Colleen of Wareham, Duane DeGowin of Plymouth, and Debra Martin and her husband Dustin of Lakeville. She was the loving grandmother to Emily, Aidan, Cullan, Dylan, Aaron, and Callie.

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date
