House fire occured early Friday morning in Onset, no injuries

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
A house fire occurred at 15 Woodside Ave. on Friday May, 15 at 4:50 a.m.
Captain Robert Feeney said there was no one home at the time of the fire and no injuries.
The fire was quickly put out in ten minutes according to Feeney. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Feeney said the house had working smoke detectors.
He said that fire safety should be common sense and people should have smoke detectors, fire alarms or sprinkler systems.
“Just make sure you have work and smoke alarms and [carbon monoxide] detectors,” Feeney said.
The Onset, Wareham and Bourne fire departments responded to the incident.
