Hop in it’s time for a rowing challenge

Row, row, row the boat in Onset Bay during the Buzzards Bay Rowing Club’s annual Onset Rowing Challenge Saturday, Oct. 25.

The challenge will be held at Onset Beach, 186 Onset Avenue and the 3-mile row will take participants out and around Wickets Island.

Participants are welcome to row in a kayak, canoe, row boat, dory, gig or whaleboat.

Registration will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. that Saturday, race briefing will be at 11 and the race will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Cost is $40 per person if payment is sent before Oct. 4 and $45 per person if sent after Oct. 4. Lunch and a free gift will be provided.
