Flock to this bird walk

Birds of a feather go on walks together. 

The Wareham Land Trust and Mass Audubon will host a free birding walk Tuesday, April 28, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Great Neck Road and Stockton Short Cut Street.

The walk will focus on spring migratory birds returning to the area, including osprey, as they begin nesting season. Participants will learn about bird behavior such as courtship and nesting, and hear from Mass Audubon Coastal Waterbird Program staff about efforts to monitor and protect threatened species.

The event is free and open to all ages. Registration at warehamlandtrust.org is required to attend.
