Dig it? The Wareham Garden Club's plant sale is near

As buds bloom and flowers show their petals, the Wareham Garden Club is preparing to dish out the dirt.

The Wareham Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Old Methodist Meeting House, 495 Main Street, and is asking for plant donations.

Residents who are dividing or thinning plants are encouraged to donate them for the sale. The club said it can provide guidance on how to pot native and non-invasive plants for resale.

The club's “Dig Squad” is available to help residents dig and pot plants if needed.
