Cheryl A. Rose, 69
Cheryl A. Rose, 69, affectionately known as “Aunty” to many, passed on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 in her home surrounded by the love of her family who were by her side!
Cheryl was born on March 25th, 1956 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Ralph and Barbara Hawes and resided in Wareham, Massachusetts for the majority of her life.
She was most notably a selfless woman who thoroughly enjoyed helping anyone she could with whatever she could provide! Her greatest passion in life was being a grandmother! She would spend many hours of her days searching for gifts for them and oftentimes months in advance of any birthdays or holidays! Whether it was with adventitious gifts for no reason, weekend getaways at Nana's, random hugs or her presence at their sporting events or school functions, she truly loved spoiling them because her greatest joy in life was bringing them joy!
She is survived by her partner in life and in love, her loving husband, Theodore Rose Sr., her children Mikel Hoy, Christina Hawes, Theodore Rose Jr., his wife and her best friend Jacqueline Rose, her brother Steven Hawes, her step-children and her many grandchildren (that she loved more than words can truly express) as well as the great multitude of friends whose lives she touched! She is predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Barbara Hawes as well as her son Donald Hawes whom she loved dearly and missed greatly!
Services, which are open to all who knew her and wish to attend, will be held at the First Congregational Church of Wareham, located at 11 Gibbs Ave., Wareham, MA. 02571, on Saturday May 31st at 3pm!
