Business fair with live music coming to Town Hall

Local businesses will demonstrate their products and services at the Wareham Showcase, happening at the Town Hall auditorium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 30. 

The Showcase will also feature live performances by Wareham-born “saltwater country” singer-songwriter Grace Morrison and folk music trio Chip and Friends, headlined by Rochester musician Chip Allen.

The event, sponsored by the Wareham Redevelopment Development Authority, will help the Authority learn more about local businesses and tout its programs to revitalize downtown.

“It helps more than the urban renewal plan,” said Director of Planning and Community Development Ken Buckland. “It helps the town’s economic environment overall.”

A $3,000 grant from the Community Events Committee will cover the cost of the event, which is free to enter.
