Boys basketball to hold cornhole fundraiser tournament

Wareham Boys Basketball is hosting a cornhole tournament to fundraise for its “Road to Florida” national championship trip.
The event will take place Sunday, Sept. 24 at Stone Path Malt, located at 11 Kendrick Road, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be a raffle and music.
Admission is $50 per team, with a 50% payout.
There will be two rounds of round robin — depending on attendance — and a double elimination bracket.
The basketball team currently has approximately $20,000 to put toward their $40,000 Florida trip.
