Plymouth County Teachers Federal Credit Union is digging into the community's roots — pun intended. 

The credit union will be transitioning over into Cranberry Federal Credit Union Friday, Aug. 1. 

Chief of Operations, Dan Picard, said that the company wanted a name that captured the heart and soul of the credit union.

"This change celebrates our past while setting the tone for an even brighter future — one where we continue to grow with our members and serve them in deeper, more meaningful ways," Picard said.

Members of the credit union do not need to take any action and will see no change with accounts, services, cards and online access. The branding will be spread out across the website, mobile apps, branches and communications throughout August.
