The Wareham Solar Bylaw Study Committee will be holding a public comment meeting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8.

The meeting will be dedicated to hearing comments, questions and concerns from fellow citizens, said Nancy McHale, the committee’s chair.

The committee was formed following a vote at the 2021 Spring Town Meeting, and is tasked with revising the bylaws that regulate solar projects in town.

So far, McHale said, the committee has worked to review other towns’ bylaws, state law and guidance and the Cape Cod Commission’s model, and has sought input from various experts.

“Your input is crucial in order for our committee to create a bylaw that is compliant with Massachusetts law while it, more importantly, protects the health and safety of our community,” McHale said.

The meeting will be held in Room 320 at the Wareham Multiservice Center, 48 Marion Rd.
