With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Pauline “Polly” (Bibbo) Leonard, a beloved member of our family and the community.  Born on October 22, 1927, Polly was predeceased by her loving husband, Stillman K. Leonard, and her parents, Joseph and Donato Bibbo of Newton, MA.  Polly was the sister of the late Lucy B. Jordan of Newton, Pat J. Bibbo of Marblehead, and the late Anthony J. Bibbo of Wellesley.  She is survived by her cherished nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, who will deeply miss her warm presence in their lives. 

Throughout her life, Polly was dedicated to her family and her many close friends in the community. She was an active volunteer at the Indian Mound Beach Association and was a communicant and volunteer at Saint Margaret of Scotland Parish.  Polly embraced adventure, whether on the ski slopes, sunbathing on Miami Beach or traveling to, and exploring, new destinations.   Her summer parties were legendary affairs, where games and laughter filled the air, bringing family and friends together in joyous harmony.  She will be remembered for her kind heart, sense of humor, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to those around her.  Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched during her lifetime.  Rest in peace, dear Polly.  Your light will shine in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 9 to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 141 Main St., Buzzards Bay at 11 AM.  Interment will follow in Center Cemetery, Wareham.
