Rosemary (Demar) Krystofolski, 82

WAREHAM – Rosemary (Demar) Krystofolski, 82, of West Wareham, passed away on January 9, 2025, at Royal Fairhaven Nursing Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” J. Krystofolski, Sr. They were married for 56 wonderful years.

She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late William Henry and Alice (Demar) Buckley. She graduated from Taunton High School and Mass College of Art. Throughout her 35 years of teaching in Wareham Public Schools, she taught art, special needs, and second grade. She worked at Decas School, East Hammond School, and the Minot Forest School. Rosemary was a lifetime member of Delta Kappa Gamma- the International Society for Key Women Educators.

Rosemary was a long-time communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Wareham and was an extraordinary Eucharist Minister. She volunteered her time and culinary skills prepping and serving meals for those in need. Rosemary also volunteered and was appointed chairperson for Wareham Relay for Life.

Rosemary enjoyed taking walks with Bob on the canal and spending time at the casino “winning big” at the penny and nickel machines. She enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid gardener throughout the years. Spending time with her grandkids made every day special to her.

Rosemary is survived by her sister Carol A. Norton and her husband Frank of Burlington; her sons John Krystofolski and his wife Pamela, and Robert Krystofolski, Jr. and his wife Joyce all of West Wareham; her grandchildren, J.T., Kevin and girlfriend Megan, and Allison Krystofolski; great granddaughter Remi Rae Krystofolski; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

Her funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from the funeral home, followed by A Mass at 10:00 a.m. at. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St., Wareham. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.

The family would also like to extend special thanks to the staff at Royal Fairhaven Nursing Center as well as Fidelity Hospice for their compassionate care of Rosemary.
