CARVER - Patricia Ann (Duffin) Henderson, 78, of Carver, passed away on, Wednesday, August 9th 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Sept. 5th 1944 in Boston and was currently living in Carver with her longtime partner Henry “Hank” Edwards for many years. She was the daughter of the late William E. Duffin, Sr. and the late Helen (Lokeman) Duffin.

Pat always had a love for music and briefly sang in a band. As a result, she enrolled in the Berklee College of Music. She loved to dance and even took up belly dancing lessons.
She was a kind and caring person who loved to make people smile. Pat had an exceptional gift of making people feel better by transforming sadness to happiness, negative to positive, and letting them feel heard! She was a very giving person always dedicating her time and energy to others. Pat was the president and founder of the “Helping Hands”, its sole purpose is to assist people of the Carver Cranberry Village Community when in need.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Corbin and wife Darlene of Wareham; her siblings, William Duffin, Jr. and wife Peggy of Indianapolis, IN, Dennis Duffin of Boston, Dianne Duffin Williams and husband Dennis of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Phyllis Duffin of Stoughton; her grandchildren, Kevvon and Tazmyn Corbin; her great- grandchildren Kavira and Kavvion; her nieces and nephews, Diallo, Lisa, Mika, Monique, Felicia, Kim, Christian, and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her late husband, Theodore “Ted” Henderson and her brother Robert Duffin.

Visiting hours will be from 3-6pm on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham. Her funeral will be from the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday, Aug. 14, 2023 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St. Wareham at 10 AM. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
