Onset Bay Center will spring into brighter days

Though the winter weather is still evident around New England, the Onset Bay Center has plans to usher in spring. 

Celebrate the spring equinox with a trail walk on Burgess Point Friday, March 20 beginning at 4:30 p.m. The Onset Bay Center is offering rides over to experience the trails as guests look forward to warmer days and sunsets after 5 p.m. 

Select s start time at savebuzzardsbay.org to reserve a spot on the boat. Boats will depart from Burgess Point and back to the Onset Pier every 30 minutes so guests can return when they please. 

The stroll will be self-guided using the center's provided trail maps. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are advised as those interested can take the sand and stone paths, view landmarks and participate in activities along the way. 

Space on each boat trip is limited, so the center asks guests to register every member of their party and communicate any registration changes as soon as possible.
