A violent thunderstorm came through Wareham and Onset knocking out power in what appears to be much of town around 8 p.m. Thursday, July 3.
The Onset Fire Department reported mass power outages across town due to the storm and Wareham Fire reported there are “a lot of wires down and a lot of trees down.”
According to Eversource, 4,232 power outages have already been reported.
