Bring some sidewalk chalk and some artistry down to Onset for the Onset Bay Association’s Annual Sidewalk Chalk and Art Festival. 

The event will be on August 16 located on 1 Union Avenue at the Lilian Gregerman Bandshell from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The theme this year is “Make a Beautiful World.” The featured artist will be Alex Scott and and the featured musician will be Ed Dutton.

Kat Jones, Executive Director of the Onset Bay Association, said she loves how expressive the event can be for participants.

“There’s something about this event. It’s just super creative. I love how everybody just expresses themselves and the fact that they do it with chalk. It can last a little while or not. There’s still art up there from last year,” she said. 

There will be an Artisan craft fair and a children’s book walk and activities.
