BOURNE – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Glenn McWilliams, Jr. 50, who left us on September 9, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston. Glenn was a warrior in every sense of the word, embodying the heart of a lion, the knowledge of Yoda, and the courage of a true Jedi.

Glenn touched the lives of so many with his kind and gentle demeanor, quick wit, and infectious smile. He had a heart of gold and a curiosity that never wavered. Known for his love of comics, Star Wars, and crafting, Glenn's creativity and passion shone through in everything he did. He had a special bond with his dog, Vader, and found solace in the beauty of nature and family vacations to Disney World, the Bahamas, Maine, and New Hampshire.

As a devoted and proud stay-at-home dad to his two teenagers, "Madi-Moo" (16), and Brayden "Bud (18), Glenn poured his heart and soul into creating a loving, fun, and nurturing home for his family. He was a pillar of strength and support, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Glenn's love for his family knew no bounds, and his memory will forever be cherished. His legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will forever be imprinted on our hearts.

His survivors include his wife of 19 years, Farrah M. (Esip) McWilliams; his children, Brayden McWilliams and Madison McWilliams all of Buzzards Bay; his mother, Norma (Ross) McWilliams of Brockton; his brother, Brian McWilliams and his wife Kerry of Wareham; his sister, Megan Santos of Wareham; and several nieces whom he adored. He was predeceased by his father, Glenn McWilliams, Sr.

Born in Middleboro, Massachusetts, Glenn graduated from Wareham High School in 1992 and worked many years for Stop and Shop before retiring in 2008. He helped pilot his son's landscaping business Lawn Boy Lawn Care in 2020 and he volunteered for many years as the Cookie Dad for his daughter's Girl Scout Troop in Bourne.

Rest in peace, dear Glenn. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you. May the Force be with you on your next journey, and may your light continue to shine brightly in the stars above.
