The Wareham Garden Club’s “finest floral designers” will be on hand June 11 and 12 to help the Wareham Free Library celebrate its birthday.

The event, titled, “ Remember Back When,” is the result of a partnership between the Garden Club, the Wareham Historical Society and the library.

The club’s floral designers will be interpreting “four major events of history in Wareham” as part of the birthday celebration.

“Wareham’s history will be depicted in floral designs, pictures and novels,” according to a Garden Club press release. “There will also be a children’s library scavenger hunt.”

The historical showcase and scavenger hunt will be held at the main library, located at 59 Marion Rd., on June 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be free and open to the public.

For more information, residents are invited to call 508-295-2343.
