The Wareham Library Foundation will host the Cranberry Coast Gala Friday, June 28 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Onset Bay Center, 186 Onset Avenue.
The highlight of the event will be a silent and live auction. A one week rental in an English cottage in Burwash, England, a painting by Trevor, a high end custom made hat by Deborah Harper Milliner, a portrait of your pet, certificates for acupuncture, a piano bar in Boston, golfing at Little Harbor, vintage cranberry memorabilia and car detailing are just some of items that will be up for bid.
Hearty Hors d’ouvres, a cash bar, music with Jeff Dunn and dancing will round out the evening.
In addition to purchasing tickets, the committee is still looking for additional sponsorships and auction items. Visit the Wareham Free Library website at www.supportwarehamlibrary.org for the link to the gala where there are forms for sponsorships, donations to the live and silent auctions and tickets.
The gala proceeds will help the Wareham Free Library purchase books and other circulating materials, acquire equipment and provide a wide range of educational and cultural programs and events for the enjoyment of residents, their children and visitors. For additional information or questions, please email WFLgala@gmail.com and a committee member will respond.
