Carolyn S. (Sampson) Robichaud, 88

BARNSTABLE – Carolyn S. (Sampson) Robichaud of Centerville passed away on September 20, 2026, at Tobey Hospital at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late John Nelson Robichaud and the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Hartil) Sampson. 

Carolyn was born in Fall River and spent her life making memories in Stoughton and Centerville. She cherished her time at her family beach home in Onset, where her children and grandchildren loved to visit. She also lived in Germany while her husband was stationed there during his service in the U.S. Air Force. A proud graduate of Durfee High School in Fall River, Carolyn continued her education at Becker Junior College in Worcester.

For 25 years, Carolyn owned and operated Christmas Carols in Easton, a successful business that reflected her creativity and love for the holidays. She was well known throughout the community for her entrepreneurship and original designs.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Holly R. Webster and her husband, Daniel of Lakeville, and Scott N. Robichaud, his wife, Nicole, and her grandchildren, Abigail, Jack, and Brooke of West Bridgewater.

She loved crafting, painting, knitting, and all things Christmas. Her love for art inspired her to pass down her skills to family and friends. Most of all, she was an accomplished conversationalist. If you had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn, you would always remember her vivid stories. 

Visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Burial will be private.
