Blanche T. (Jarvis) Thomas, 92, of Onset, died Saturday, July 21, 2021, at Sippican Healthcare Marion. She was the wife of the late Albert D. Thomas.

Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Caroline L. (Ruff) Jarvis. Mrs. Thomas graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1946, and was a member of the National Honor Society.  

Prior to moving to Onset in 1974, she was an active member of the Lynn Community Brotherhood Club Auxiliary. For many years, she worked as a seasonal screener for Ocean Spray. She enjoyed working in her yard and was always taking care of others.

Survivors include her sons, Albert A. Thomas and his partner Theresa O’Brien of Winthrop, John H. “Jackie” Thomas and his partner Donna French of Onset, and Glen P. Thomas and his partner Julee King of Wareham; her daughter, Palmeda D. Sanzi and her husband Richard of Brockton. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased her siblings, the late Frances Jarvis, Henry Jarvis, Vincent Jarvis, James Jarvis, Loretta Jarvis, Evelyn Thomas, Lydia Turner, Clare Jarvis and Ethel Young.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 5 – 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 10th at 10 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
