A.D. Makepeace sells $8.3 million property to Newman Properties
A Brookline-based property management company has purchased the three office and retail buildings at 10-40 Rosebrook Way from A.D. Makepeace for $8.3 million
Announced by the acquiring Newman Properties as a “huge commercial acquisition,” the sale closed on Aug. 12.A spokesperson from A.D. Makepeace declined to comment on the transaction.
The three buildings, which sit next to TownePlace Suites hotel and a luxury apartment building at 35 Rosebrook Way, host a Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub, Southcoast Dental, Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and Five Guys, among other tenants.
Cranberry grower Makepeace developed the entire Rosebrook Business Park beginning in 2011.
“Newman Properties and Atlantic Capital Commercial Real Estate are thrilled to add this high-performing asset to their portfolio,” the firm said in a statement.
Newman owns and manages a mix of residential and commercial properties across Greater Boston, the South Shore and the North Shore. With this acquisition, the firm now owns 11 properties across Wareham and Onset.
