Wareham Pediatrics named one of the best in state

Jan 22, 2020

Wareham Pediatric Associates was named one of the top five pediatric practices in Massachusetts for patient care by the Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP).
The award is based on a state-wide survey conducted by MHQP, a nonprofit that aims to improve the quality of patient care in Massachusetts.
Wareham Pediatrics was also recognized for “empowering patient self care,” meaning that patients are provided with the knowledge and tools to be proactive in their care, and are able to improve their health.
“We are proud of the effort our staff makes to improve the care of children in our community. This award is a huge honor and reflects our effort to continuously work to improve the care we deliver in our office,” said Jason Reynolds, a pediatrician at the practice.
“The children in this area deserve the best care, and that is our goal,” added Steven Mends, who is also a pediatrician at the Wareham practice.
Wareham Pediatrics was founded more than forty years ago, and, in 2007, joined the Pediatric Physician’s Organization at Boston Children’s Hospital.
“Primary care is the heart of healthcare in Massachusetts,” said Barbra Rabson, MHQP’s President and CEO. “The practices recognized with these awards have distinguished themselves where it matters most – in the experiences of their own patients. We are thrilled to congratulate each of them for their commitment to excellence and best-in-class patient experiences.”
