Wareham Land Trust Storywalk: ‘We are water protectors’

Apr 6, 2021

Wareham residents are encouraged to stop by the Wareham Land Trust’s Agawam River Trail, located at 20 Knowles Ave., to follow along with the children’s book “We are Water Protectors.”

The Land Trust describes the book as “beautifully written and vibrantly illustrated.” Pages of the book are displayed along the trail for people to enjoy while they explore the outdoors.

“This story follows a young water protector as she defends Earth’s waters and issues an urgent rallying cry to safeguard this sacred resource from harm and corruption,” reads a Wareham Land Trust press release.

The book will be displayed during the entire month of April.

This “We are Water Protectors” storywalk was funded by the Wareham Cultural Council.
