The Wareham Free Library will host a number of events next week, ranging from a frisbee dog show to a book talk to a music duo who will close out the summer’s concert series.

All programs are free, and no registration is required. Events are sponsored by the Friends of the Wareham Free Library.

Monday, Aug. 1: Nashville-based husband and wife duo Mike T. Lewis and MaryBeth Zamer, also known as the “Twangtown Paramours,” will perform as the closing act of the library’s summer concert series. The performance begins at 7 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and bug spray for the outdoor concert.

Tuesday, Aug. 2: Mike Piazza leads four dogs in a high-flying frisbee act that starts at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s back yard.

Wednesday, Aug. 3: Listen to author Paul Clerici as he discusses his book, "A History of the Falmouth Road Race: Running Cape Cod” at 7 p.m. in the library. Runners are now preparing for the 50th year of the Falmouth Road Race, and Clerici will talk about the race’s history, its origins and stories of races past.
