Over 50 firefighters and several fire departments responded to a two alarm structure fire at 38 Old Onset Road Friday, Aug. 8. 

The Onset Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of the two-story home after a 911 call was made at 5:19 p.m. Upon arrival, fire fighters found heavy fire showing from the residence. 

There were no occupants in the building at the time of the fire according to the Onset Fire Department. 

The fire remains under investigation by the Onset Fire Department and Wareham Police.
