Turning Point will remember victims of homelessness

On Thursday, Dec. 21, the longest night of the year as winter begins, Turning Point Resource Center and Wareham Area Committee for the Homeless will recognize National Homeless Persons Memorial Day with a ceremony and a memorial tree in Besse Park.
The ceremony will take place at Church of the Good Shepherd, located at 74 High Street, starting at 5:30 p.m.
This ceremony, remembering those who have lost their lives due to their state of homelessness, will be open to the public.
