Trick-or-treat hits Main Street

Oct 26, 2018

Ghosts, witches , princesses and more hit Main Street on Friday night for the Wareham Village Association's annual trick-or-treating event.

Businesses and organizations, all the way from the Wareham Fire Department to Cumberland Farms, handed out candy to the dozens ghouls and goblins gathered at their door with many employees in costume themselves.

“It’s an awesome event for the kids,” said Stephanie Delgado, who was one of many handing out candy. “They just absolutely love it.”

Delgado’s own two children were among the trick-or-treaters taking over Main Street, their bags full of goodies.

“It’s fun and exciting!” said seven year-old Nassira Delgado, who was dressed as a witch. Her little sister, Amarei, was a cuddly tiger.
