Trick or treat down Main Street

It’s time to finish up the final touches on Halloween costumes as trick or treating starts a little early this year.
On Friday, Oct. 25 over 99% of businesses on Main Street are opening their doors to trick or treaters, said Tracy McGraw, the president of the Wareham Village Association.
Trick or Treat on Main Street, which has been on for at least 15 years, will take place from 3 to 5 p.m.
Participating businesses will have an orange or black balloon in their storefront and many will be decked out in Halloween decorations.
More families are “opting” for Trick or Treat on Main Street over door to door trick or treating, McGraw said, because many find it “very fun and safe.”
“There’s a constant flow of kids in costumes,” she said.
McGraw suggests starting at Pezzoli Square and making a loop around Main Street for the best trick or treating experience.
