Wareham Police have announced the traffic restrictions ahead of Saturday’s fireworks in Onset.

​On Saturday, July 6, there are going to be traffic restrictions put in place for the Onset fireworks. Drivers should expect delays when leaving the area after the event.

Onset traffic restrictions:

All day – No parking Union Avenue from Onset Avenue to C.W. Bishop

3:00 pm – Onset Pier Closed at 3:00 pm, Handicapped Parking only

7:00 pm – Onset Avenue from 10th Street to East Boulevard, residents only with proof of ID or handicap placard

8:00 pm – Onset Center shut down to all vehicular traffic.

The police also wish to remind people that public consumption of alcohol and marijuana is against the law and will not be tolerated.
