A Santa Clause for fun
Here comes Santa Clause right down Main Street way as the Wareham Village Association's annual Christmas parade nears.
The parade held Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. will feature local organizations, groups and floats from Viking Drive to Besse Park. Those interested can still join in on the fun. The application is active on warehamvillage.com.
Following the parade, Warren's Harborview at 59 Main Street will be hosting an extended celebration.
A jolly good time
The Church of the Good Shepherd is holding its annual Christmas Fair in their Parish Hall on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 74 High Street, Wareham.
The fair will feature include crafts, gift baskets, jewelry and more.
Un-fir-gettable craft fair
It's impossible to wreath-ist local crafts, baked-goods and more.
The annual Holly Faire presented by the Wareham Garden Club will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Patrick's Hall, 82 High Street.
Various plants will be available to purchase alongside holiday treats and handmade gifts.
Holly-day shopping
Head over to Trinity Christian Church for the annual Christmas Fair and Luncheon Saturday, Dec. 6. Festivities will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. at the church located at 462 Main Street.
The fair will include handmade crafts, gift baskets, raffles and a bake sale. The luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. which attendees can eat in or take out. Lunch will consist of New England clam chowder, kale soup, pulled pork sandwiches, chips, a drink and homemade mac and cheese.
Homemade donuts and coffee will be served from 9 to 11 a.m. and the Mission Thrift Shop will be open during the fair.
Cruise into the holiday spirit
Give back with Wareham Police as the department prepares for their annual stuff-a-cruiser event Saturday, Dec. 6. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. a police cruiser will be outside of Walmart at 15 Tobey Road that the department will be filling with donations of unwrapped gifts.
All donations will be donated to Turning Point, a Wareham based service center dedicated to supporting people facing various life challenges.
The department will also host a fundraiser for their “Shop with a Cop” event Monday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 11 p.m. at El Mariachi, 207 Main Street. For any questions please contact clarue@warehampolice.gov.

Harp-e diem
The Wareham Free Library has pulled a few strings for another fall concert. Aine Minogue will be showing off her musical talents Monday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road.
Wednesday, Dec. 10
Winter walk
Just because winter’s coming doesn’t mean the Wareham Land Trust is done getting outside. Join the land trust for a walk through Minot Forest, Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The walk will cover about 1.5 miles at a leisurely pace with stops along the way. The event is free and parking is available at 40 Indian Neck Road. Space is limited. Register at warehamlandtrust.org.
Pen, paper and nature
Connect with nature and learn how to document it at the Wareham Land Trust’s nature journaling 101 class. The class will be held at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
