Branch out creatively
Connect with nature and learn how to document it at the Wareham Land Trust’s nature journaling 101 class.
The class will be held at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Participants will learn simple techniques for sketching and documenting nature and how journaling can expand one’s curiosity.
Friday, Dec. 5
The steaks are raised
The monthly meat raffle at Redmen Hall, 745 Main Street is returning Friday, Dec. 5.
Doors to the event will open at 6 p.m. with a $10 ham and bean supper served at 6:30. The raffle will start at 7 p.m. The Redmen Hall will also have a Toys for Tots donation box and asks attendees to bring an unwrapped gift to donate.
Saturday, Dec. 6
Un-fir-gettable craft fair
It's impossible to wreath-ist local crafts, baked-goods and more.
The annual Holly Faire presented by the Wareham Garden Club will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Patrick's Hall, 82 High Street.
Various plants will be available to purchase alongside holiday treats and handmade gifts.
A jolly good time
The Church of the Good Shepherd will be holding its annual Christmas Fair in their Parish Hall on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 74 High Street, Wareham.
The fair will feature include crafts, gift baskets, jewelry and more.
