Summer Concerts to be in July

Get ready to sway to some music during the Music from Land’s End 2025 Summer Concerts, on July 26 and 27 and August 8 and 10 in Marion and Wareham.

In July, there will be first-time soprano Linda Tsatsanis. Her career to date spans the concert hall, opera, movies and television.

Her concerts will be Saturday, July 26 at 7 p.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church in Marion located at 124 Front Street and Sunday, July 27 at 5 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Wareham located at 74 High Street.

Also in July will be returning cellist Nathan Whittaker and composer Sebastian Gottschick. Their program will combine string trio repertoire with songs by composers Beethoven, Schubert and Theodorakis, among others.

Their concerts will be Friday, August 8, at 7 p.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church in Marion and Sunday, August 10 at 5 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Wareham.

In August there will be first-time pianist Gideon Rubin, a versatile musician experienced as a soloist, chamber musician, pedagogue and composer. Gideon will join forces with Music from Land’s End Wareham Director Ariadne Daskalakis and cellist Paige Riggs.. Together they will perform piano trios by Beethoven and Brahms, as well as a work by Gideon himself.

Entrance is by donation and there will be free seating.

Music from Land’s End Wareham is honored to receive support once again in 2025 from the Wareham Cultural Council of the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
