The Council on Aging will be joing the Wareham Land Trust for a woodland stroll along the Agawam River at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 18.

The hike will be led by Wareham Land Trust Director Elise Leduc-Fleming. 

She will highlight the various flora and fauna along the way.

The path taken is flat and shaded.

The hike will cover approximately half a mile over the course of 30 to 45 minutes to suit the needs for a range of abilities.

It is recommended that participants bring water, bug spray and wear a pair of comfortable shoes. 

Parking is available at the Agawam River Trail trailhead at the end of Knowles Avenue off of Depot Street.
