Robert “Bob” George Lamore, 78
PLYMOUTH- Robert “Bob” George Lamore, 78, of Plymouth, MA, passed away on November 23, 2025 in his home surrounded by his devoted family. He was the son of the late George and Margaret (Morash) Lamore.
Bob was born on June 23, 1947, and grew up in Walpole, MA. He was a graduate of Walpole High School class of 1965. In 1971 Bob married the love of his life, Arlene (Tobin), and the two settled in Walpole, MA to raise their family. They later moved to Plymouth, MA where they enjoyed the rest of their years together. After a lengthy career as a tool and die maker, he retired from Flexcon Industries.
Bob was a fun-loving man known for his big smile and contagious laugh. He was an outdoorsman who loved to go hunting, fishing, doing yard work and gardening. He was known for his bright green lawn and big, beautiful flowers. He also spent time growing enough vegetables to supply his neighborhood. Bob was a sports fan who rooted for the Patriots, Bruins, and Red Sox. He also loved spending time with his family going on cruises, camping at Peter’s Pond for 18 years, and spending summer vacations in Harwich Port. Above all else, he loved spending time with his one and only grandchild, Amie.
Bob was the loving husband of 54 years to Arlene L. Lamore. Father of the late Cheryl L. Evans, late Edward C. Evans, and Gerald M. Evans of Plymouth, MA. Cherished Grandfather of Amie L. Scannell and her husband Shawn A. Scannell of Mashpee, MA. Brother of late Patricia Robbins, late Marjorie Stuber, late Mary “Betty” Connery (Geehan), late Janet Buckman and late Carol Travers. Bob is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his 3 beloved Great-Granddogs Stanley, Tobin and Levi.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 5th from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28). A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm.
