EASTON – Richard C. Vita, 91, of Easton, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2023, with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of the late June (Doherty) Vita and the son of the late Nicholas and Lucia (Baldessari) Vita.

He was born in Medford and lived in Stoughton for many years. He then lived in Wareham before moving to Easton 6 years ago. He graduated from Medford High School.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Vita was a sales manager at Standard Modern Printing in Brockton for many years before retiring.

He was an avid coin, sports and historical memorabilia collector.

Survivors include his children, Robin Andreotti and her husband Louis of Hopedale, Renee Anderson and her husband Rick of Easton and Rick Vita and his wife, Beverly of Wareham; 8 grandchildren, Daniel Traci, Kristin Mason, Jill LaCross, Keith Anderson, Rick Vita, Alexa Vita, Jay Vita, and Samantha Vita; 6 great grandchildren, June, Rosie, Ryker, Colin, Owen, and Cameron. He was the brother of the late Anthony and Rico Vita.

His services are being held privately.
