The Wareham Area Committee for the Homeless/Turning Point will be holding a ceremony to remember all those that have lost their lives due to homelessness Thursday, Dec. 19.

The ceremony will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 74 High Street beginning at 6 p.m. The ceremony is a part of the groups efforts to recognize National Homeless Person's Memorial Day

The National Coalition for the Homeless began day of remembrance in 1990 and the day is recognized nationally every year on Dec. 21.
