Quintin Couture, 52, of East Wareham, passed Monday, July 17, 2023 at Mass. General Hospital in Boston from an unexpected medical condition.

Quin was born in Normal, IL and previously lived in Florida before moving to Massachusetts in 1973.  He worked as a project manager for Kelly’s Property Services.

Quin was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially for stripers on the Cape Cod Canal.

He is survived by his son, Chase Couture of Wareham and Lakeville; his siblings, Jennifer Posey and her husband Kevin of Mechanicsville, MD, James Couture and his wife Krystina of Centerville, Billy McCoy and his wife Amanda of Wareham and Shawn McCoy of Bourne; his extended family, Karen Kelley Gaspa, Jaime McCoy and Erin Presnell all of Palm Bay, FL; his step-mother, Diane Brown-Couture of Mattapoisett, his former wife, Jessica Couture of Lakeville; his nieces and nephews, Alyson Rentschler, Danielle Rentschler, Phoenix Couture, Jordan McCoy, Paige Fairbanks, Jake Tisler, Caleb Kean and Kelan Kean; and his great-niece, Scarlet Elaine Leach.  He was predeceased by his father, the late Michael Couture and his sister, the late Betsy Couture.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations — Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.  A celebration of Quin’s life will follow at Bay Pointe Club, 19 Bay Pointe Dr., Buzzards Bay from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
