A pup-tastic dog park paw-ty

Life isn't so ruff when you can celebrate with dogs.

The Wareham Dog Park, 74 Maple Springs Rd, will celebrate its 3rd Birthday Pawty Saturday, April 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a rain date for Sunday, April 19.

The free event begins with a Blessing of the Dogs, followed by pup cups with a toppings bar prepared by Gone Country Creamery and birthday cake for attendees. Activities include rock painting, the “Unleash the Possibilities” art gallery and two dog park-themed story walks.

Visitors can also enjoy blooming daffodils along the trail and in the Remembrance Garden. Sally Morrison, organizer for the event thanks the continued support from sponsors like Target, Hannaford Supermarket, Shaw's Supermarket and Stop & Shop.
